ELKINS — The 87th Mountain State Forest Festival Grand Feature Parade will offer music, floats and performers winding their way through downtown Elkins starting at 1:30 p.m. today.

This year’s parade will feature 99 official entries, along with 15 entries in the Industrial Unit & Log Truck Division, a procession of antique automobiles, and a performance from the Xpogos Stunt Team.

The parade’s official entries range from marching bands to floats to politicians and local dignitaries, including Gov. Patrick Morrisey, State Senator Robbie Morris, R-11th District, and Delegate Jonathon Kyle, R-66th District.

The Mountain State Forest Festival’s 87th Queen Silvia, Sterling Anne Kump, will preside over the parade along with her Royal Court and her Maids of Honor, Macie Romero and Ellyse Goddard.
