Dilly details walkthrough school visits
ELKINS — Randolph County Schools Superintendent Dr. Shawn Dilly has told the county Board of Education about walkthrough visits that he and other administrative team members are currently conducting in the county schools.
Dilly told BOE members Rachel Burns, Ed Daniels, Janie Newlon, Sherri Collett and Phil Chua that he wanted to take them through the walkthroughs.
“I have received some questions wanting a little additional clarity about our walkthrough process,” Dilly said. “So I thought I would spend a little time this evening sharing with you guys a little bit and talking about the walkthrough process that we are currently doing through the district.”
Dilly told the BOE that his team adopted a new platform which features several walkthrough templates.
“The top one is the non-negotiables, which is the one that we kind of used the most often when we are doing our walkthroughs from my office scheduled throughout the buildings,” Dilly said. “There’s also the short form and a standard walkthrough, a numeracy walkthrough, and a science of reading walkthrough, West Virginia Universal Pre-K observation walkthrough, classroom walkthrough, and short form ELKINS — Randolph County Schools Superintendent Dr. Shawn Dilly has told the county Board of Education about walkthrough visits that he and other administrative team members are currently conducting in the county schools.
