The Elkins City Council meeting scheduled for tonight has been canceled, city officials announced.

Around 9:15 a.m. this morning, the City of Elkins announced on social media that tonight’s meeting had been canceled “due to a lack of agenda items.” The meeting cancellation was also confirmed in an email to The Inter-Mountain from the City of Elkins Communication Manager Leon Kaye.

“This week’s city council meeting was canceled due to the lack of agenda items,” the social media post reads. “The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m.”

Elkins City Council meets twice a month at the Phil Gainer Community Center.
