Tractor-Trailer Jacknifes on Black Ice
Around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, the Elkins Fire Department and Randolph County EMS responded to a tractor-trailer accident on Route 33 near Bowden. The vehicle, which is believed to have hit black ice, blocked traffic going both ways, and emergency workers had to deal with a spill at the site.
