Good Friday is Friday, April 3. Regular garbage pickup scheduled for Friday that week will instead be collected a day early on Thursday, April 2. City Hall offices will be closed.

The Personnel Committee is holding a special meeting on Tuesday, March 24, at 1 p.m. Items for discussion include the consideration of applicants for the HR generalist vacancy, as well as next steps on the City’s classification and compensation plan.

The Regional Task Force on Homelessness, Addiction, and Mental Health will meet Thursday, March 26, at the Phil Gainer Community Center. Starting at 1 p.m. this meeting is open to the general public.

The City Hall building at 401 Davis Avenue has been closed for renovations since September 2024. Contractors are now working on a $4.1 million project to repair and prevent future damage from flooding; install modern HVAC systems; improve safety, accessibility, and security; and update and modernize workspaces.
