BEVERLY – The Beverly Heritage Center’s free music series is back in action for the 2026 season.

West Virginia musician Grayson Samples will perform in the historic town of Beverly on Saturday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on the 1841 Jailhouse lawn. The rain location would be the IOOF Great Hall.

This all-ages show will feature what Samples calls “Appalachian music intertwined with other influences to create my own sound.” Samples comes from a line of musicians and has performed his style of mountain music professionally for more than 30 years.

The “Live on the Lawn” concerts are entering their fifth year of providing free live music to community members and are expanding their concert season this year, thanks to generous community sponsors. A variety of local musical performers will headline the monthly shows through November.

“We wanted to bring people to Beverly to appreciate the amazing local talent we have here,” said Outreach Manager Emilee Goodman. “These concerts are a great way for the community to come together and enjoy an afternoon of music and camaraderie.”

Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and their own favorite snacks and beverages, though light refreshments will be available. The show is sponsored by Davis Trust Company.
