2026 MSFF Royal Minor Court is announced
ELKINS – The Royal Minor Court of Queen Silvia LXXXVIII has been selected and announced by Mountain State Forest Festival Director General Nathaniel Bonnell and Queen’s Department Director Megan Casto.
Representing the 88th Royal Minor Court will be Crown Bearer Everett Todd Wamsley; Scepter Bearer Tayler Michelle Poe; Flower Girls Adlee Taelor Cox, Emberlee Blair Howell, Emory Gene Isner, Bailey Lynn Pennington, Alexis Brooke Riffle, and Maggie Mae Workman; and Train Bearers Archer Abram Broschart and Elliott Robert Chenoweth.

Wamsley
Everett is the son of Andrew and Sarah Wamsley of Elkins. He is the grandson of Darroll and Cindy Talbott of Elkins, and Todd and Lisa Wamsley of Elkins. He is also the great-grandson of Bob and Dottie Wamsley of Elkins. Everett has one brother, Emmett.
In the fall, Everett will be a first-grade student at Third Ward Elementary. Everett participates in Elkins Little League, Seneca Soccer, and YMCA basketball. He enjoys playing sports, camping, hunting, and fishing. When Everett grows up, he wants to join the military and aspires to be a police officer.
Everett’s father, Andrew, was a Crown Bearer in 1995, his mother, Sarah, was a Flower Girl in 1999 and a Maid of Honor in 2010. His grandfather, Darroll, was an Assistant Director for three years;, his grandfather, Todd, was an Assistant Director in 1997-1998 and Director General in 1999; and his grandmother, Lisa, served as an Assistant Director and then Director General in 2008. His great-grandfather, Bob Wamsley, was Director General in 1991 and currently serves on the MSFF Board. His great-grandmother, Dottie Wamsley, was Director General in 1997.

Poe
Tayler is the daughter of Owen and Shanna Poe of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Neil and Catherine Poe of Elkins, Jesus and Kristi Martinez of Clinton, Oklahoma, and Shane and Christina Barron of Clinton, Oklahoma. Tayler has two brothers, Jayden Malone and Lance Poe.
In the fall, she will be a kindergarten student at Jennings Randolph Elementary. Tayler participates in Seneca Soccer and gymnastics at MGA. She loves to play with her Barbies and enjoys painting, drawing, crafting, and climbing trees with her brother Lance. Tayler loves dressing up as her favorite Disney princesses and dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up.

Cox
Adlee is the daughter of Brandon and Sydney Tice of Elkins and Cory and Ashton Cox of Bridgeport. She is the granddaughter of Anita Curtis of Elkins, Tracy and Tanya Curtis of Jane Lew, Ronald and Terra Edwards of Philippi, Brian Cox of Philippi, and David and Janet Tice of Beverly. Adlee is the great-granddaughter of Jim and Judy Curtis of Elkins and Rose Cox of Philippi. Adlee has two brothers, Colton Cox and Cooper Messinger, and four sisters, Bryleigh and Kenzington Tice, Kennedy Cox, and Maci Messinger.
In the fall, she will be a fourth-grade student at Midland Elementary. Adlee plays for Seneca Soccer, YMCA basketball, Midland Elementary basketball, Randolph County softball, and Flash travel basketball. She also swims with Elkins Otters and dances with Dance by Farrah. Adlee enjoys playing outside, being with family, reading a good book, and shopping. When she grows up, she wants to be a marine biologist.

Howell
Emberlee is the daughter of Travis Howell and Brianna Hill of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Michelle Hill and the late Randy Hill of Elkins, and Wilma Howell and the late Beechard Howell of Dailey. She is the great-granddaughter of Richard and Sharon Rockwell of Elkins and Larry and Bonnie Knicely of Elkins. Emberlee has one brother, Rilan, and one sister, Temperance.
In the fall, Emberlee will be a third-grade student at Beverly Elementary, where she plays basketball for the Cheat Mountain League. She has participated in Randolph County Youth Softball for three years, has been a dance and tumbling student at Axis since she was three, and completed her first year in 4-H. Emberlee enjoys her chicken farm and takes on a lot of field time with her rabbit beagles, Gypsy and Randa. She plans to be a veterinarian when she grows up because she loves animals.

Isner
Emory is the daughter of Veronica Isner of Elkins and Christopher Isner of Belington. She is the granddaughter of Orval and Karen Hunt of Beverly, Ronnie and Donna Pritt of Dailey, Kenny Isner of Belington, and Robin Wamsley of Elkins. She is also the great-granddaughter of Joyce Pritt of Dailey, Leona Arbogast of Dailey, Gatha Isner of Elkins, and Gloria Isner of Philippi. Emory has one sister, Brooklynn.
In the fall, she will be a fifth-grade student at Jennings Randolph Elementary. Emory is an “A” Honor student, has been a cheerleader at JRES for three years, and goes horseback riding at Saddles and Smiles. She enjoys playing with her dog, makeover and movie nights with her sister and mom, tumbling, pageants, swimming, and crafting. When Emory grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian. Her mother, Veronica, was a Princess in 2005.

Pennington
Bailey is the daughter of Daniel and Chasity Pennington of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Mark and Kitty Poling of Montrose, Jerry Barkley, and Maxine and Joe Arbaugh of Seneca Rocks. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Layton “Dan” Pennington of Elkins and Leah and the late Arthur “Bud” Woods of Elkins. Bailey has one brother, Aiden.
In the fall, she will be a third-grade student at Jennings Randolph Elementary. Bailey has been a dancer at Dance by Farrah for five years and a member of the competition team for the past three years. In addition to dance, she trains in tumbling with Axis and is a cheerleader at Jennings Randolph Elementary. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, spending time with her dog, dancing, and being outdoors. Bailey aspires to become a dentist in the future.

Riffle
Alexis is the daughter of Alexander Riffle and Courtney Riffle of Elkins. She is the bonus daughter of Kelsi Trippett and Samantha Hensley. Alexis is the granddaughter of Donna and Bruce Riffle of Elkins, Michelle Watson and Donald Howell of Elkins, Jeri Pastine and Todd Daft of Elkins, and Duane and Shelly Trippett of PA. She has four brothers, Elliott, Carson, Kaci, and Ledger.
In the fall, Alexis will be a fifth-grade student at Jennings Randolph Elementary, where she is an A-B Honor roll student. Her hobbies include gymnastics at MGA and cheerleading at JRES. She would like to be a cosmetologist/aesthetician when she grows up. Alexis attends Rivers Church with her grandparents. Her mother, Courtney, was a Jester in 2004, and her bonus mother, Kelsi, was a Flower Girl in 2003 and a Maid of Honor in 2014. Her grandfather, Duane, was an Assistant Director in 2005, and grandmother, Jeri was an Assistant Director from 2002-2004.

Workman
Maggie is the daughter of Jacob and Jennifer Workman of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Jake and Tammy Workman of Beverly and the late Debra Cottrell and Larry Cottrell. She has two brothers, Levi and Isaac.
In the fall, Maggie will be a fifth-grade student at Jennings Randolph Elementary. Maggie is a player on the 10U Randolph County “Hericanes” Softball team. She enjoys camping with her family and hunting and fishing with her dad. Maggie’s mother, Jennifer, was Woodly in 1989, and her brother, Levi, was a Trumpeteer in 2023 and 2024.

Broschart
Archer is the son of Jamie and Marlena Broschart of Elkins. He is the grandson of Linda Davis and the late Jerry Davis of Elkins and the late William and Marie Broschart of Jimtown. Archer has two brothers, Alexander and Aidan, and two sisters, Aaliyah and Taylor.
In the fall, Archer will be a third-grade student at Jennings Randolph Elementary. Archer is active in several sports, including playing basketball for the YMCA Jerry West League, Upward Basketball, Jennings Randolph Patriots, baseball for Elkins Little League, and Soccer with Seneca Soccer. He has been awarded many star student awards from his teachers. Archer also enjoys staying active by running and has participated in the MSFF Kids Fun Run the last two years. He enjoys swimming, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. His sister, Aaliyah, was a Royal Scout in 2014.

Chenoweth
Elliott is the son of Robert and Misty Chenoweth of Elkins. He is the grandson of Jay and Kathy Judy of Elkins and Joyce Chenoweth of Elkins and the late Gary Chenoweth. Elliott has three brothers, Jacob, Eli, and Levi, and two sisters, Jillian and Riley.
In the fall, Elliott will be a fourth-grade homeschooled student. Elliott enjoys mathematics and problem solving. He also enjoys engineering projects and likes to be creative and think outside the box. He likes playing basketball and soccer and loves fishing, camping, riding his bike, and playing video games. In the future he plans to be an engineer and or inventor. His mother, Misty, was a Jester in 1996.
The Royal Minor Court will accompany Maid Silvia LXXXVIII during her Royal Coronation on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Citizens Bank of WV Outdoor Amphitheater on the campus of Davis & Elkins College.
