EHS student named state High School Rodeo Queen
Submitted photo Elkins High School's Holliana Huffman will serve as the 2026-27 West Virginia High School Rodeo Queen.
ELKINS – Holliana Elizabeth Huffman has been chosen as the 2026-27 West Virginia High School Rodeo Queen.
In July she will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska to represent West Virginia in the National High School Rodeo Association Queen Contest.
She will compete in the following categories: Written Test on the National High School Rodeo Association Rule Book, Horsemanship Competition, Personal Interviews, Modeling and Speech.
Holliana is the daughter of Mike and Karin Huffman of Bowden. She has been a member of the West Virginia Rodeo Association, where she competes in barrels and poles, for four years.
In the fall she will be a senior at Elkins High School, where she is an honor student and vice president of class council.
