BEVERLY – The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce offered a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new childcare center this past weekend.
Milestones Early Learning Childcare officials hope to offer a new resource for families in the community. The center is located in the former veterinary office of Mike Pritt at 316 South Hazelwood Road in Beverly.
Milestones looks to provide a warm, engaging environment designed to support early childhood development.
“I am truly excited to turn a long-time dream of mine into a reality – and share Milestones Early Learning with our community while offering a place where children can grow, learn, and thrive through quality care,” said owner Brittny Drennen.
“I want to thank my husband, Travis, and my children for their constant love and support–none of this would have been possible without them. We are excited to see Milestones take shape and enrollment has filled up fast!”
Saturday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together community members, families and friends to tour the facility, meet the staff and experience first-hand the vision behind Milestones. The event featured family friendly activities, including a bounce house, along with opportunities for attendees to explore the classrooms and learn more about enrollment options.
“Milestones Early Learning Childcare represents an important investment in both our children and our workforce,” a press release from the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce states. “Access to quality childcare is essential for working families, and we are excited to see this space revitalized to meet that need right here in our community.”
Milestones offers structured programming, play-based learning and compassionate care, providing a safe, nurturing and educational environment for children, with a focus on building strong foundations during the early years. The center is currently accepting enrollments, and families are encouraged to reach out directly for information on age groups, availability and programming.
