Gandy Dancer Theatre celebrates Season 16

ELKINS – On May 29, the Gandy Dancer Theatre will begin its 16th season. This year’s group of performers comprises 20 cast members across six different shows.
Gandy Dancer’s regular shows will all be back: The Tribute to Musical Legends, The Premier, Aloha From Elvis, the Murder Mystery Dinner called “Death at 30,000 Feet,” the Mountain Memories Christmas Show, and, back this year by popular demand, Christmas With Elvis.

All shows serve dinner or can be purchased as Show Only (except the Murder Mystery Dinner Show).
The group of performers for the Tribute, Premier, and Christmas shows include: Aaron Baker, Buddy Priest, Rebecca Call, Josh Stump, Ishah Franks, George West, Mark Phillips, Ralph Bennett, and Tom Singleton.
The Murder Mystery cast includes: G’na Stephens, Amy Parsons, Trish Thomason, Samantha Robinson, Kathy Brake, Margaret Brown, Leon Brown, Susan Bragg, Ralph Bennett, Joy Hostetler, Gracie Parsons, Tom Singleton, and Raelyn Robinson.
Of course, no Gandy Dancer season is complete without the ever-popular Robert Keefer as The King of Rockin’ Roll, Elvis Presley.
Gandy Dancer has expanded the show schedule this year to accommodate the abundance of bus groups already booked, explained G’na Stephens, the C.E.O. of the Gandy Dancer Theatre.

In addition to the shows, Gandy Dancer will be hosting dinners, auctions and specialty conferences, among other events, Stephens said.
“These past 15 years have been full of excitement, learning, laughter, tears and joy. I am so proud of where we’ve come from and where we are right now. We have been honored by so many awards, touched by the absolute kindness of our guests, and overwhelmed by the support of our community.”
