ELKINS — After 13 years of dedicated service, Valley Health Care (VHC) extends sincere gratitude to Jonathan Kyle as he concludes his time on the Board of Directors, including the last four years as Board Chairman.
Kyle joined the VHC Board of Directors in 2013 during an important period of growth for the organization. During his tenure, Valley Health Care expanded from approximately 20 employees to more than 150 team members across three locations serving communities throughout north central West Virginia.
As a board member and chairman, Kyle helped guide VHC through years of organizational growth, strategic planning, operational challenges, and continued expansion of healthcare services. His leadership played an important role in advancing the organization’s mission of providing reliable, compassionate, affordable care close to home.
“Jonathan has been a steady leader and passionate advocate for rural healthcare throughout his years of service,” said Valley Health Care CEO Jordan Godwin. “His commitment to this organization and the people we serve has helped shape Valley Health Care into what it is today. We are deeply grateful for his leadership, vision, and dedication to our communities.”
Kyle reflected on his years of service and the importance of accessible healthcare in rural communities.
“Quality healthcare is one of the foundations of a strong community,” Kyle said. “Folks deserve access to good care close to home, and it has meant a lot to me to play a small part in helping make that happen here.”
“Serving on this board was never about a title,” Kyle added. “I did it because this is my home, you are my people, and I care deeply about the future of our community.”
Valley Health Care extends its sincere gratitude to Jonathan Kyle for his years of leadership, service, and dedication to improving healthcare access for local families. His impact on the organization and the communities it serves will continue to be felt for years to come.
