Man reported missing in Randolph County

ELKINS — An elderly man suffering from dementia has been reported missing out of Randolph County, police announced.
Around 10:13 p.m. on Monday, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s assistance in finding James Hedrick, 82, “who suffers from dementia and other medical conditions.”
According to a statement from the Sheriff’s Office, Hedrick was last seen leaving Davis Medical Center in Elkins on Monday. He was traveling toward the Veterans Intersection in a black Subaru Forester bearing West Virginia registration 808111A.
“Due to his age and medical conditions, there is concern for his safety and well-being,” according to the statement. “Please share this information and help bring Mr. Hedrick home safely.”
