BEVERLY — A Randolph County man faces a felony charge after allegedly driving while his license was revoked for a third time.

Robert Lee Holsberry, 58, of Mill Creek, is charged with one count of third offense driving with license revoked for DUI, a felony. He is currently being held at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $5,000 cash-only bond.

According to the criminal complaint filed by Trooper Andrew C. Jordan with the Elkins Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, on June 17, Jordan and Trooper H.J. Bonetti were conducting road patrol on Seneca Trail Road.

During their patrol, Jordon utilized the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to run a West Virginia Registration on a vehicle that came back as registered to Holsberry, the complaint states. Jordon also used CAD to run a drivers history check on Holsberry. The Department of Motor Vehicles record allegedly indicated that Holsberry’s operators license had been revoked for DUI in April 2010. The two officers then conducted a traffic stop of Holsberry’s vehicle on Back Road in Beverly.

Upon further investigation, Jordon found that Holsberry reportedly had two prior convictions for driving with license revoked for DUI from Feb. 2023 and July 2025, the complaint states.

During a search of the vehicle, Bonetti allegedly located two clear baggies containing a “white crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine.” The baggies were in two different cigarette packs laying in the center of the vehicle’s bench seat, the complaint states. Holsberry was then placed under arrest.

A preliminary hearing for Holsberry has been scheduled for June 29 in Randolph County Magistrate Court.
