The Randolph County Fair will crown its 20th Queen on Sunday at 6 p.m. at Camp Pioneer in Beverly, during the 2026 Miss and Miss Teen Randolph County Fair pageant.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and 10 contestants from Randolph, Pendleton, Barbour, Grant and Upshur counties will be vying for the titles of 2026 Miss Randolph County Fair and Miss Teen Randolph County Fair.
In the teen category, contests include: Lydia Cupp of Dailey, who is the 15-year old daughter of Harry and Amelia Cupp and is in the 10th grade at Elkins High School; Brooklyn Isner of Elkins, who is the 14-year-old daughter of Veronica and Chris Isner, and is in the ninth grade at Elkins High School; Addison Miley of Petersburg, who is the 14-year-old daughter of Scotty and Heather Miley, and is in the ninth grade at Petersburg High School; Trinity Shaffer of Tallmansville, who is the daughter of Bobby and Samantha Shaffer, and is in the ninth grade at Buckhannon Upshur High School; Aria Waddell of Beverly, who is the 15-year-old daughter of Josh Waddell and Cheyenne Pierce, and is in the 10th grade at Tygarts Valley High School.
Five ladies are vying to become the 20th Miss Randolph County Fair Queen, including Madison Arbaugh of Circleville, who is the 18-year-old daughter of Derek and Roxanna Arbaugh, and a freshman at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College, where she is majoring in business; Aleighna Brenwalt of Valley Bend, who is the 18-year-old daughter of Rebecca Brenwalt and a freshman at Davis & Elkins College, where she is majoring in nursing; Sydney Collett, who is the 20-year-old daughter of Alan and Trish Collett of Elkins, and a junior at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she is majoring in nursing and criminal justice; Gracelyn Snyder of Huttonsville, who is the 15-year-old daughter of Owen Snyder and Brittany Hoover, and is a sophomore at Tygarts Valley High School; and Erica Trader of Buckhannon, who is the 18-year-old daughter of Eric and Shelly Trader, and a freshman at Glenville State University, where she is majoring in elementary education.
Contestant sponsors include Bonnie's Cleaning Service, Collett's Contracting, Rock Gable Service Station and Wright’s Electric.
The contestants will sit for preliminary personal interviews, and will compete in Event Promotion and Evening Gown during the pageant. Each contestant will also enter an exhibit into the Fair Queen's Class of Exhibits, which will be on display and available for silent auction bids during the pageant and fair.
The 19 prior Miss Randolph County Fair queens have been invited to a Queens’ Reception in their honor before the pageant to celebrate the 20th anniversary, and will be recognized during the pageant.
There is a cost for admission to the pageant for ages 11, and a lesser cost for ages 10 and under. Commemorative pageant programs will be available for purchase, and concessions will be available.
