ELKINS – The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber has announced the selection of its fifth Leadership Randolph class.
"Leadership Randolph is a quality educational experience for a select group of individuals from Randolph County," said Karrah Washington, the Chamber’s executive director and coordinator of the Leadership Randolph program.
"The Class of 2027 includes individuals with various backgrounds and from many different professions. Their range of experiences will provide diverse perspectives as they learn and grow together as leaders who are ready to make a difference in our community."
This year’s Leadership Randolph application process "generated strong interest from individuals representing a wide range of professions, organizations, and backgrounds," a Chamber press release stated. "The result is a talented and diverse class of 18 participants who will take part in this unique leadership program."
Leadership Randolph is a Chamber program that “seeks to develop and prepare leaders to move Randolph County forward,” a Chamber press release states.
The Leadership Randolph Class of 2026 includes: Ryan Barker, Assistant Commercial Loan Officer, Mountain Valley Bank; Adrienne Bell, Program Director Randolph County Youth Reporting Center; Thais A. Carpenter, CEO/Manager, El Toro Steakhouse; Kaitlin Carr, Clinical Quality Manager, Valley Health Care; Devon Channell, Staff Accountant, Mountain Valley Bank; Mary Hensley, Manager, Clementine's Cantina, and Agent, B's Recovery Service;
Gabriella Hyre (Sayger), Judicial Law Clerk; Brenda Kaubisch, Program Assistant, Randolph County Development Authority/WV Wood Technology Center; Chelsea Langevin, Payroll & Student Employment Coordinator, Davis & Elkins College; Angela Lewis, Ambulatory Manager-Office, WVU-UHC Elkins Corridor Medical Center; Madison Mallow, Medical Staff Office Coordinator, Davis Medical Center-Vandalia Health;

Topics for the nine monthly sessions include Tourism, Economic Development, Housing, Healthcare, Education & Youth, Workforce & Hardwood Manufacturing, Government, Nonprofits & Volunteerism, and Agriculture. The program will conclude with a dinner and graduation ceremony in May 2027.
The Leadership Randolph program is supported by the program’s alumni and Chamber partners who serve as facilitators and bring expertise related to each session's topic. Sessions include presentations, panel discussions, small-group experiences and, most importantly, field trips to businesses and organizations throughout Randolph County.
