PHILIPPI -- The Barbour County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for information regarding a missing Barbour County girl.
Kasia Lynn Hess, 15, of Philippi was reported missing on Aug. 21 at approximately 6 a.m. The last known sighting of her was around 11 p.m. on Aug. 20, leaving her residence in Philippi in a 2018 White Nissan Sentra bearing WV registration 56Z591. The vehicle also has rear passenger side damage.
According to a neighbor's security cameras, the vehicle turned south on Route 250 towards Belington, and has not been seen since.
Kasia was last seen wearing a gray top, and green Chucky pajama pants. Kasia is 5'6", 146 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
She has been entered into the NCIC system as a missing person. Police ask that if you see her or the vehicle, call 911 immediately.
