The Elkins Purple Majesties (Red Hats) were treated to a wonderful luncheon in September. The ladies dressed in their purple with red hats enjoyed the beautiful sunshine day to crown queens. The co-queens Carole Helmick and Debbie Pernia were crowned in the traditional ceremony. They received crowns and purple capes along with beautiful seasonal mums.
The queens and their ladies enjoyed a delicious perfect luncheon celebration consisting of salad and the famous spaghetti and meatballs and dessert. Mums of fall colors were given as prizes by the hostesses. The October meeting/luncheon will be Oct. 12 at 11:30 a.m.
