ELKINS -- A public meeting which was scheduled for Wednesday to discuss a planned excess levy for the Randolph County Ambulance Authority has been canceled, officials said.
The meeting was set to take place at the Randolph County Emergency Squad facility in the Elkins Industrial Park.
The Randolph County Commission approved the levy at a recent meeting and announced it would be placed on the election ballot for the November General Election.
Commission President David Kesling said more details about the levy and the cancellation of Wednesday’s public meeting will be discussed at Thursday’s County Commission meeting, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in the Commission Annex.
