A sports car and a mail truck collided Saturday afternoon in Beverly. At about 1 p.m., a Mini Cooper and a United States Postal Service vehicle crashed in a "rear-end type collision with severe damage to both vehicles" on US 219 near Colonial Millworks, according to a release from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office. The Beverly Volunteer Fire Department and the Randolph County EMS assisted at the scene.
