Scott previously served as Director of Marketing and Communications at St. Joseph's, where he was responsible for the hospital's marketing, public relations, community outreach and communications efforts. "Growing up in Elkins and spending most of my life in this region has given me a deep appreciation for the communities we serve," Scott said. "I'm incredibly grateful for the

opportunity to take on this expanded role at St. Joseph's. Rural hospitals are such an important part of the areas that they serve, and I'm excited to continue working alongside our employees, providers and leadership team to strengthen the care and services available to patients throughout central West Virginia."

As Director of Operations, Scott will focus on supporting day-to-day hospital operations, strengthening departmental processes, enhancing the patient and employee experience, and helping advance strategic initiatives across St. Joseph's.

Scott said his connection to both Elkins and Buckhannon makes the opportunity particularly meaningful.

"Elkins will always be an important part of who I am and where I come from, but I've also been incredibly fortunate to build a life in Buckhannon," Scott said. "I feel very lucky to consider both communities home, and it means a great deal to have the opportunity to give back to and serve the people of this region through my work at St. Joseph's."
