PHILIPPI – The Barbour County Democratic Executive Committee is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Barbour County Democratic Party's election headquarters, at 41 South Main Street in Philippi.
The grand opening is set for Monday, Oct. 5 at 3 pm. Everyone is invited to attend the celebratory event.
Headquarters will have candidates' signs for the 2026 Nov. 3 election, plus information on voting early in Barbour County, all for the public. Candidates are being invited to visit headquarters prior to the election. Once confirmations are received, the public will be notified.
Additionally, "No Valley Link" signs and information will also be available for the public at the headquarters.
The headquarters will be open from Oct. 5 through the Nov. 3 election. Party officials invite Democrats and Independents to drop in for a cup of coffee, discussion, and information sharing.
Another important date for county Democrats is the upcoming Executive Committee meeting on Monday, Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. in the side room of The Local Restaurant in Philippi. All Democrats and Independents are invited to this county wide meeting.
