Officials: Middle Fork River in Ellamore is flooding

ELLAMORE – Randolph County officials announced this morning that the Middle Fork River in Ellamore is flooding. A message from the Randolph County Office of Emergency Management and 911 Monday morning stated, “The Middle Fork River in Ellamore has risen to Action stage at 12.77 ft; Flood stage is 13 ft. Anyone living along the river is urged to self evacuate and move to higher ground, flooding is imminent. DO NOT drive through flood waters.”

BUCKHANNON — City officials say Buckhannon's parks – which were flooded during the July 21 severe storms - will reopen to the public before Labor Day.
