Justen William Shomo

Justen William Shomo, 24, a resident of Beverly, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at his home. His death was unexpected.

He was born March 8, 1990, at Elkins, a son of William R. Shomo, who survives at Junior with his wife, Brenda, and Deborah Lea (Elmore) Conley, who survives at Beverly with her husband, William Gregory Conley.

Also surviving are one son, Samuel William Allen Shomo of Junior; one sister, Kristen Lea Wilfong of Charleston; and his maternal grandmother, Elsie Marie Wilfong of Jimtown

community.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Denver Lee and Natalie (Lantz) Shomo; and his maternal grandfather, John

Elmore.

Mr. Shomo worked around several area lumber mills, the most significant being Allegheny Wood Products. He was also a former employee of Tractor Supply. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, from Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel, 95 S. Crim Ave. in Belington. Pastor Rick Williams of New Covenant Church at Junior will officiate, and interment will follow in Knights of Pythias Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the funeral hour Sunday.
