Amanda Marie Long
Amanda Marie Long, 26, of Thomas, died May 21, 2016.
She was born June 14, 1989, in Elkins, a daughter of Michael Troy Long and Toria Kay Trainor.
Also surviving are her stepfather, Daniel Trainor; and stepmother, Pamela Long; grandparents, Troy and Ruth Ann Long and Kathleen Kay Mahoney; companion, Chuck “Worm” Arnold; two sisters, Melissa Dawn (Jessie) Davis of Dry Fork and Michelle Lynn Long of Harman; stepson, Brian Arnold of Thomas; stepbrother, Chase Daniel (Elizabeth) Phelps of Phenix City, Ala.; two aunts, Lois (Aaron) Brown and Mary (Theodore) Pederson; three uncles, William Paul Mahoney II, Christopher Todd Mahoney and Mark Tarrell (Wanda) Mahoney; and three nieces, Zoie Lynn Davis, Meredith Jade Phelps and Olivia Grace Phelps.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Paul Mahoney.
Amanda was employed by Blackwater Falls State Park, housekeeping department. She enjoyed four-wheel jeep mudding, motorcross racing and travelling.
Friends will be received Wednesday May 25, at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Todd Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Flanagan Memorial Cemetery at Laneville.
