RICOTTILLI
Patsy Carman Ricottilli, 90, a resident of the Talbott Community, Belington, West Virginia, departed this life early Sunday morning, Sept. 5, 2021, at the West Virginia Caring Hospice Center at Elkins, West Virginia. He had been in declining health.
He was born Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1931, at home at the Talbott Community, Belington, West Virginia, a son of the late Panfilo and Giovanna Centofanti Ricottilli.
He was twice married.
First, to the former Pauline Herron, who preceded him in death. Second, on Jan. 21, 1976, he was married to the former Sally Ann Tucker, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Michael Timothy Ricottilli of Summersville; two daughters, Mary Virginia Scott and husband, Richard, of Elkins, and Donna Marie Dorsey and husband, Chris, of Mt. Nebo; one brother, Carlo Ricottilli of Montrose; one sister, Amelia Derico of Buckhannon; five grandchildren, JoAnn "Jodi" Scott, Michelle Neal, Craig Ricottilli, C.J. and Edward Dorsey; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are one son, James Patrick Ricottilli; one granddaughter, Tara Renee Ricottilli; seven brothers, Dominick, Laboria, Albert, Armand, Joseph, Fiori and Tony Ricottilli; and four sisters, Adeline Regester, Virginia Rydzak, Lugia Margarita "Lucy" Palmisano and Fiorina Ricottilli.
He attended the Water Camp School. He owned and operated a fencing business for 30.
After retirement, Patsy moved back to the family farm, where he and his wife, Sally, maintained and worked the farm. He was an avid woodworker, loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was a member of the Saint Brendan Catholic Church.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at the Saint Vincent Cemetery at Kingsville, West Virginia. The Rev. Father Jim O'Connor will be the Presider and interment will follow.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the charity of your choice.
