Ronnie Dwayne ‘Daydreamer’ Raines Sr.

Ronnie was born Monday, March 27, 1961, in Essex, Maryland, a son of the late Clyde Edwin Raines and Betty Lou Hannah.

Left to cherish Ronnie’s memory are two children, Ronnie “RJ” Raines and Tiffany Raines and fiance, Vinnie Gaines; four siblings, Valinda Scott and husband, Mart, Victor Dale Raines and companion, DeeDee, Brenda Shifflett and companion, Mike, and Larry Raines; Ronnie’s best friend, Jerome Kyle; and his stepdad with whom he was very close, Neal McCauley.

Preceding Ronnie in death besides his parents was his stepmother, Ella Raines; and a sister, Vicky Johnson.

Ronnie had worked as a truck driver for Hammonds Trucking and Hayes Scott. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and camping. He loved visiting with and talking to people!

Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
