Mr. Dennis Jeffrey Tallman, 47, a resident of Elkins, departed this life Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at his residence. He had been in usual health but death was unexpected.

He was born on Oct. 27, 1975, at Ravena, Ohio, a son of Gregory Eugene “Greg” Tallman, who survives in Elkins, and to the late Vickie Fuller Kelley.

He had never married.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother; Vicky Tallman of Elkins; a sister, Brittney Archibald and husband, Joel, of Manassas, Virginia; step-brother; Ryan Scott of Beverly; step-sisters, Vanessa Scott of Elkins and Lacey Marstiller of Dailey; nephew, Mason Archibald and niece, Merideth Archibald.

Several aunts and uncles also survive.

Dennis was a graduate of the Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1993. He was employed with Walmart as an order organizer. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to play golf, basketball and tennis. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home, 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington, on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, from 6 – 9 p.m. Interment of his cremains will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery at a later date.
