Mrs. Nancy Ann Brunson Huggins Miller, 71, a resident of Belington, departed this life Sunday Jan. 1, 2023, at her home. She had been in usual health but death was sudden and unexpected.
She was born on Jan. 26, 1951, in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late James Brunson and Bernadine Brunson and step-father Keith Stewart, who raised her.
She was twice married, first to Dick Huggins, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 5, 2005 she was united in marriage to her second husband Terry Lynn Miller, who survives at their home in Belington.
In addition to her husband, she is survived half-sister; Darlene Brunson Nicholson of Bedford, Indiana; daughters, Shannon Higdon and husband, Jerry, of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and Brandy Mclver and husband, David, of Panama City, Florida; a son, Keith Huggins of Sevierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Meghan Hayes and husband, Brandon, Kaitlin Higdon, Gavin McIver and wife, Brooke, Seth Huggins and Kaylee McIver; great-grandchildren; Kylie Osborne, Brayden Hayes, Karsen Osborne and Damon Hayes.
Nancy graduated high school in Williamson, West Virginia, and was a graduate of the West Virginia University Nursing Program, where she earned her RN degree. She was employed by Select In Home Services of Elkins as a RN and worked various other places as a traveling nurse. She was Christian by faith and enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets. She loved to travel and take road trips with her husband. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home, 56 North Brandenburg St. in Belington, on Saturday Jan. 7, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. Per her request, cremation will be honored.
