Ellen Michelle Phillips Powers

Ellen was born Thursday, Sept. 21, 1978, in Leesburg, Virginia, a daughter of late Michael Phillips and Pamela Henline, who survives.

Also left to cherish her memory is her fiance, Robert “Robbie” Brake; two daughters, Nikita and Summer Powers; and two brothers, Mikey Firl and Gary Henline Phillips.

Preceding her in death besides her father was her maternal grandmother, Zelpha Henline; and one sister, Christine Henline.

Ellen was a 1998 graduate of Tygarts Valley High School and was employed as a housekeeper at the Snowshoe Mountain. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and taking care of animals. Ellen will always be remembered for her smile, laughter, and being a joy to be around. She loved to help anyone who needed help.

Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home, Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, from 11 a.m. until noon, the funeral hour.

Interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
