Wilbur "Willie" Lee Arbogast, 87, a resident of the Kingsville Community, passed from this life Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, at Autumn Lake at Nella's Healthcare in Elkins.
Willie was born Thursday, April 25, 1935, in Kingsville, a son of the late Benjamin Arbogast and Bessie Mae Wilson Arbogast.
He had married the former Rella Mae Tenney, who preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are three children, Barbara George and husband, Mike, Maggie George and husband, Jeff, all of Cassity, and Angela Deaver and husband, Brian, of Midland, Texas, grandchildren, Leslie Arbogast, Brian Watson, Rachel Ball, Sara Ricottilli, Samantha Teter, Lindsay Deaver, Nicole Nottingham, Loren, Kevin, Maria, Gracie, Taylor George and Jeff George Jr.; seventeen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Lillian Arbogast.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and wife was one daughter, Brenda Watson; one son-in-law, Randall Watson; one grandson, Dillan George; and three siblings, Luther, Hobert and Rita Arbogast.
Willie was a graduate of Coalton Twelve Year School and had been employed as a delivery man for Grady Guye's Furniture until his retirement. He enjoyed doing yard work and vegetable gardening. Willie loved to wash cars; he'd tell people, if their car was dirty, bring it by and he'd wash it. He had a mower from Sears that was twenty years old. After each use, Willie would wash and shine the mower.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 3, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. until noon, the funeral hour. Pastor Faye Moyer will officiate.
Willie's request for cremation will then be honored.
The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Wilbur Lee Arbogast.
