Tyrus ‘Ty’ Raymond Gainer
Tyrus “Ty” Raymond Gainer, 89, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away at home in Spring Hill, Kansas, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
Ty was born the only child of Dee and Myrtle(McQuain) Gainer in Elkins, West Virginia.
He was a member of the Elkins High School graduating class of 1952, where he was class president.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Love Wachtel Gainer; his daughter, Patricia Joy Gainer Carter (Cliff Carter); his grandchildren, Matthew Carter ( Sara Carter), Michael Carter and Hannah Carter; and his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great- nephews.
