Helen M. Adams

She was born March 17, 1942, in Wilmington, North Carolina, the youngest daughter of the late William and Bernice Brown.

On June 18, 1961, in Chillum, Maryland, she married John H. Adams Sr. of Bowie, Maryland, by whom she is survived.

Helen is also survived by one son, John H. Adams Jr., of Laurel, Maryland; one daughter, April Fraber (John Fraber) of Annapolis, Maryland; one granddaughter, Heather, of Annapolis, Maryland; one grandson, John Jr. of Chester, Maryland; and two sisters, Faye (North Carolina) and Joyce (Louisiana); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Brett Rinehart officiating.

Interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery near Huttonsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 in memory of Helen.
