John Ray Clingerman
John Ray Clingerman, a resident of Elkins, West Virginia, was born Feb. 11, 1936, in Randolph County, Norton, West Virginia.
He passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Brian L. Seders and Rev. Barry Moll officiating.
Interment will follow in the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery at Cravensdale, where full military rites will be accorded at the gravesite by members of the United States Air Force, H.W. Daniels Post 29 American Legion and Tygart Valley Post 3647 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 or Tyrand Cooperative Ministries, PO Box 365, Mill Creek, WV, 26280 in memory of John.
