Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Junior Wilson

Kenneth “Kenny” Junior Wilson, 61, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Monday, May 8, 2023, at the West Virginia Caring Hospice Inpatient Center in Elkins.

Kenny was born, Sunday, April 15, 1962, in Kingwood, a son of the late Edna Mae Minor and Edward Plodzik.

Left to cherish his memory are three children, Shawna Pritt and husband, Joseph Lane, of Buckhannon, Chelsea Boggs and husband, Larry, of Mabie, and Kenneth Jeremiah Wilson of Helvetia; he adored his five grandchildren, Joseph Eugene Lane, Dreyton Boggs, Isabella Boggs, Kenneth Nicholas Wilson and Micah Phillips, with a sixth grandchild on the way whom Kenny was very excited about; also five siblings, Henry, Arthur “Butch”, Donnie, David and Carolyn “Sis”; numerous nieces and nephews; one aunt, Brenda Sines; and his friend and the mother of his children, Roxanne Hofer.

Preceding him in death besides his parents were five siblings, Lydia, Sue, Larry, Fred and Jack.

Kenny was a self-employed carpenter and was the owner of Ken’s Carpentry. He was very passionate about his carpentry work. Kenny was an animal lover and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and loved to go fishing. He was an enthusiastic “motorhead” and loved classic vehicles. Kenny’s other hobbies included watching WVU football and listening to his favorite music.

Kenny’s request for cremation will be honored.
