Bessie May ‘Betty’ Prine Lowman
Bessie May “Betty” Prine Lowman, 79, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at her home.
Betty was born Monday, May 8, 1944, in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Salavnes Fremont Prine and Edna Frances Lambert Prine.
On June 27, 1977, she was married to Norman Ronald Lowman, who preceded her in death on March 11, 2017.
Betty had two siblings.
She is survived by her brother, Emory Prine and his wife, Freida, of Baltimore, Maryland. However, she was preceded in death by her sister, Creta Virginia Bell.
Betty attended the schools of Randolph County and had worked as a cashier for Stroehmann Bakeries. She loved to draw and spend time with her family and friends. She had attended the Valley Independent Baptist Church in Huttonsville.
Betty will be laid to rest in Brick Church Cemetery.
