Joshua Eldon Dennison, 41, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, died Monday, July 3, 2023, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.
He was born April 20, 1982, in Morgantown, a son of Juanita Hewitt Smith of Buckhannon and the late William Bradley Weaver.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Michael Smith of Buckhannon; one sister, Patricia Wilson of Tabor City, North Carolina; two half-brothers, Billy Weaver of Ohio and Robby Weaver of Hot Springs, Virginia; special friend, Roxanne Petrella of Fairmont, West Virginia; one step-brother, Christopher Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; one step-sister, Kelli Johnston and husband, Kris, of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.
Josh was a member of the NRA and the NWTF. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, Jeeping and 4-wheeling. Josh loved life. Friends will be received Monday, July 10, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Way of Holiness Church in Buckhannon. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating.
Burial will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the Reger Chapel Church Cemetery on the Brushy Fork Road in Buckhannon.
