Julia Ann Wills Bonds

Julia Ann Wills Bonds, 48, a resident of the Jimtown community, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at her home.

She was born Jan. 27, 1975, at Ellison Ridge, West Virginia, a daughter of Robert Nelson Wills and Patricia Ann Crook Wills, both of whom survive at Jumping Branch, West Virginia.

On Oct. 15, 1994, at Beckley, West Virginia, she married Charles Joseph Bonds, who survives at Jimtown.

Also surviving are two sons, Jessie Robert Bonds of Coalton and Jacob Isaiah Bonds of Glenville, West Virginia.

One brother, Robert Nelson Wills Jr. of Peterstown, West Virginia; two special "adopted" brothers, Charlie Hall of Cool Ridge, West Virginia, and Frankie Hall of Beckley, West Virginia; three sisters, Rebecca Richmond, Freeland, West Virginia, Amy Bragg of Streeter, West Virginia, and Missy Ballangee of Brooms Straw, West Virginia, also survive.

Preceding her in death was one brother, Steven Wills.

Julie was a homemaker, loved her dogs and was a member of the New Life Southern Baptist Church in Weston, West Virginia.

Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, from the funeral home chapel, with Scottie Bowman and Pastor Dave Riddle officiating.

Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery at Jimtown, West Virginia.
