Linda Mae Talbott Beam

She was born on Nov. 20, 1951 in Belington, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harold Calvin and Mildred Streets Talbott. On Oct. 28, 1969, she was united in marriage to Victor Ray Beam, who preceded her in death on April 18, 2007.

She is survived by one son, Victor Ray Beam Jr. and wife, Angie, of Belington; one daughter, Donna Dean of Buckhannon, one brother, David Talbott and wife, Mary, of Belington; one sister, Susan Jones and husband, Pat, of Philippi.

Additional survivors include eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul N. Talbott.

Linda was a graduate of the Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1969. She previously worked for the Barbour County Assessor’s office and was former treasurer of the Talbott United Methodist Church in Belington.

She was a self-employed business owner for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Laurel Mountain Post 410 of Belington. She loved to watch football and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Per Linda’s request, cremation will be honored. A private family interment of her cremains will be in the Talbott Cemetery at a later date.
