Steven Roy ‘Steve’ Warner

Steven Roy "Steve" Warner, 73, a resident of Beverly, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.

He was born Oct. 23, 1949, at Harrisonburg, Virginia, a son of the late Curtis and Bessie Warner.

On June 23, 2002, at Mill Creek, he was married to Gloria June Arbogast Warner, who survives at Dailey.

Also surviving is one daughter, Monica Lawrence of Elkins; three brothers, Amby Warner, Marvin Warner and Gary Warner, all of Beverly, West Virginia; two sisters, Diane Cooper of Elkins and Maxine Cunningham of Beverly.

Three grandchildren, Taylor, Trey and Tyler; step-grandsons, Dalton and Kaiden Warner; special step-grandson, Dakota Warner; and a special step-great-grandson, Waylon Warner also survive.

Also preceding him in death was one brother, Isaac Warner.

Steve was a self-employed farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the West Virginia Cattleman's Association and attended the Markley Chapel Church.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon, Friday, July 21, 2023, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, from the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Billy Young officiating.

Interment will follow in the Beverly Cemetery at Beverly, West Virginia.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Steve.
