Bonnie Sue Taylor Arbogast

Bonnie was born Thursday, Feb. 11, 1943, in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Sterl “Nig” Taylor and Verna Carolina Louk Taylor.

On Feb. 11, 2001, in Dailey, she was married to Jerry Arbogast, who survives in Mill Creek. She had previously been married to Eldon Riegel and Eddie “Bill” Currence, both of whom preceded her in death.

Also left to cherish her memory are two grandchildren, Karrah Washington and husband, Brandon, and Jonathan Riegel, all of Mill Creek; three great-grandchildren, Brayton and Braelynn Washington, and Noah Riegel; three sisters, Peggy Gibson of Mill Creek, Nancy Smith and husband, Tom, of Elkins, and Rebecca Shobe and husband, David, of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Sterl “Nick” Taylor and wife, Gilberta, and Dayton Taylor and wife, Brenda, all of Mill Creek; a daughter-in-law, Carla Riegel (loving wife of her son, Mark); a special sister-in-law, Joann Lambert of Huttonsville (beloved wife of her brother, Lester); and several nieces and nephews.

Others preceding Bonnie in death are her two sons, Eldon “Mark” Riegel and Marty D. Riegel; three sisters, Evelyn Lenore Bucher, Barbara Louise Scott and Geraldine Taylor; and two brothers, Lester Lambert and Eugene Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Bonnie attended school in Tygarts Valley. She was the owner and supervised the daily operations of the Thru Way Market in Mill Creek for 21 years. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family gatherings. She loved decorating her home and keeping it meticulously clean.

Visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery.
