Daniel J. Miller

He was born April 24, 1934, in Elkins, a son of the late Ernest and Bessie McCauley Miller.

He was married to Gloria J. Shelton Miller for 68 years, who survives in Elkins.

Also surviving are two sons, Mark Miller and wife, Anita, and D. Jay Miller and wife, Krista.

One daughter, Kim Talbott; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren also survive.

Also preceding him in death were a son, Jeffrey Lynn Miller; a sister, Evelyn Ray; and brother, Lucky Miller.

Dan was a graduate of Tygart Valley High School and was employed as an insurance agent for 60 years. He was a devout Christian who loved to play golf and fishing. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1135 in Elkins.

Mr. Miller’s request for cremation has been honored.
