Marion William Wyatt, 84, of Smithfield Street, Buckhannon, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, at his home.
He was born Feb. 7, 1939, at Vandalia, West Virginia, a son of the late James and Bessie Strader Wyatt.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his second wife, Delma Jean Wyatt; one son, James Allan Wyatt; one sister, Maybell West; and one brother-in-law, Dave West.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Harris Wyatt, to whom he was united in marriage on June 21, 2005; three sons, Tony Wyatt of Weston, Michael Wyatt and wife, Terrilee, of California, and Eddie Wyatt and wife, Tanya, of California; three stepsons, Bruce Davidson of Morgantown, Rick Filomena of Frederick, Maryland, and Ron Filomena of N. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; three stepdaughters, Brenda Sue Rice, Joyce Peters and Jan Filomena, all of Buckhannon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Darrell Wyatt of Germany, Marvin Wyatt of Buckhannon and Denzil Wyatt and wife, Shirley, of Weston; his first wife, Patricia Singleton of Summersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wyatt dearly loved his family.
The family will receive friends at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, from 5-7 p.m.
A funeral will be held from the funeral chapel on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Brad Tenney officiating.
Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at Jane Lew.
