Jeremy D. Harris, 44, a resident of Mill Creek, West Virginia, departed from this life on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, in the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown West Virginia. His death was sudden and unexpected.
He was born on June 11, 1979, in Elkins, West Virginia, a son to Donald Taylor and the late Anita (Harris) Taylor.
Left behind to cherish his memory are three brothers, Jason Harris, Josh Taylor and Donald Taylor; two sons, Nevin Shiflett and Javon Harris; one daughter, Kaylee Dotson; one stepdaughter, Haven Shiflett; three uncles, Billy Harris, Donald "Tater" Harris and Clifford Harris; two aunts, Norma Harris, and Henrietta Jones; and several nieces and nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.
Jeremy was loved by many and had lots of friends he considered family. Jeremy donated his organs to help other people live or to enhance their lives through the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE.)
According to his wishes, cremation is planned, and his family will honor and celebrate the life he lived. A heartfelt memorial service will be on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at noon from the Fincham Chapel Church in Adolph, West Virginia, where loved ones can come together to celebrate the incredible life he lived.
