Keith Edward Dean

Born Sept. 18, 1954, in Marlinton, he was a son of the late Bobby Lee and Judith Arlene Cassell Dean.

Keith was in EMS for over 40 years, paramedic since 1987, member, EMT, and firefighter for the Marlinton Fire and Rescue Squad, member of the Marlinton Square Dance Club, called figures for square dances all over the place and a member of the Kiaros inside.

Keith is survived by two children, Cullin Andrew Dean and Hannah Beth Noelle Dean, both of Lynchburg, Virginia; sister, Donna Dean-Chrivia and husband, Richard; and a brother, Herb Dean and wife, Cheryl, both of Marlinton.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. from Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye, with Rev. David Rittenhouse officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wilfong Cemetery near Marlinton.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, at the funeral home.
