Lawrence Howard Nicholas Jr., 58, a resident of Washington, D.C., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, at this home in Washington.
He was born Jan. 14, 1965, at Warner Robbins, Georgia, a son of the late Lawrence Howard Nicholas Sr. and Charlotte Marie Baxter Nicholas, both of whom were Randolph County natives.
Surviving is one son, Christopher Lawrence Leonard Sr. of Washington, D.C.
Two sisters, Marcia Nicholas and Sandy Williams, both of Florida; three grandsons; and one nephew also survive.
Lawrence was employed as a chef in the Washington, D.C., area and had worked at FedEx Field for many years.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at the Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins.
Pastor Terry Cannon will officiate.
