Maxine Gilmore of the Highland Park Community passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at her home following a short illness. Death was attributed to a stroke.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Charles Madaus officiating. Interment will follow in the American Legion's Little Arlington Cemetery in Elkins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elkins Randolph County Public Library, 32 Randolph Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Maxine.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Maxine Gilmore.
