Phyllis Jean Cochran, 89, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon.
She was born Jan. 22, 1934, in Webster Springs, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Richard Ralph and Aileson Carpenter House.
On June 10, 1968, she married Mickey L. Cochran, who preceded her in death on March 16, 2008.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Violet Thomas; and two brothers, Richard and James House.
She is survived by two sisters, Delores Casella of Buckhannon and Sandra Murtha and husband, Mark, of Pennsylvania; one brother, Mike House of St. Albans, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cochran was a secretary and a member of the Wayside Southern Baptist Church of Buckhannon. Friends will be received Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wayside Southern Baptist Church, with funeral services at 1 p.m. and Pastor Scott Owens officiating.
Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Veterans Cemetery.
