Sandra Kay Vandevender, 62, a resident of Dailey, passed from this life on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, at her home. She was in her usual health and death was sudden and unexpected.
Sandra was born Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1961, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Kenneth Vandevender and Fonda Lou Pingley Vandevender.
Left to cherish Sandra's memory is one brother, Gene Vandevender and wife, Carolyn, of Valley Bend; and her long time companion, Rocky Hale.
Sandra was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School with the class of 1979. She was a homemaker. She loved cats and spending time with Rocky.
She was a Methodist by faith.
A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, from 11a.m. until noon, the funeral hour.
Interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery.
