Betty L. "Betsy" Harnden, 78, a resident of Beverly, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Sept. 23, 1945, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Nester and Edith Collins Williams.
On March 25, 2002, at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, she was married to Ted. D. Harnden, who survives at their home on Scott Lake, Beverly.
Also surviving is one sister, Brenda Finnerin of Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Also preceding her in death was one sister, Marilyn Alkire.
Betsy was a graduate of Glenville State College and was retired from Mon Power working as a Customer Service Representative and where she developed many lifelong friends. Betsy enjoyed many hours with her beautiful flowers, garden and greenhouse. May she Rest in Peace.
