Mary Louise ‘Ski’ Armstrong Fincham

Mary Louise "Ski" Armstrong Fincham, 84, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Dec. 6, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of WV Caring.

Mary was born Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1939, in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Doyle Delbert Armstrong and Georgia Anne Currence Armstrong. On March 29, 1958, she married SGM-Ret. Kermit Edgar "Jack" Fincham Sr, who preceded her in death on April 5, 2017.

Also left to cherish Mary's memory are three children, Kermit "Bingo" Fincham Jr. and wife, Cathy, of Winfield, Teresa "Kitty" Konesky and husband, Alex, of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, and Angie "Twinkles" McCauley and husband, Don, of Huttonsville; seven grandchildren, Jeremy McCauley, Miranda Conard, Amanda Fincham, Ashley Nease, Jace McCauley, Brandon Konesky and Jenna Konesky; seven great-grandchildren, Brionna, Athena, Sadie, Silas, Dustin, Ryan, Isabella "Izzi" and one great- grandson on the way; several nieces and nephews; and her loyal companion, JJ her cat.

Preceding Mary in death besides her parents and husband were four siblings, Billy, Paul, Yvonne and Lavonda.

Mary was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School and Clarksburg Business College and was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, and dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed adventurous trips with her husband, including Las Vegas to renew their wedding vows of 47 years, and cruises to Alaska and Bermuda. She and her husband had attended the Mill Creek United Methodist Church. She was a Christian by faith and has moved on to join her husband, Jack, and is now walking on the streets of gold and eating from the tree of life.

A special "Thank You" to a special neighbor, Hollis "Preach" Farrar for his help and blessings.

A graveside service will be held at the American Legion's Little Arlington Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at noon.
